True Colors?

Do our color preferences say something about our personalities? I've always thought so. (All fabulous people have a predisposition for pink & green, don't they?) How about career choice? This is a GREAT little test. I'm a "Creator". Very fun to read about the type of work & environment my colors say I would thive in. What are you?

I went to Sephora the other day to try Philosophy's Red Velvet cake bubble bath. Come to find out it is also a shampoo & shower gel! It smells VERY SWEET so friends who don't like intense flavors/scents might not be fans. I happen to live for red velvet SPRINKLES cupcakes so when I saw red velvet, I got in the car!

Full disclosure, I also bought the Birthday party gift set! I HAD to! Yesterday was my half birthday. (6 months to plan your gift...tick tock)

It is a Posh Momma rule to indulge yourself once in awhile. I have to wake up before 6a.m to prepare for our day. Having some fun shower products to get me out of a nice warm bed on a cold February morning is a true delight! We Mommas deserve it!

THE Posh Momma

Run (as fast as you can in heels) to your nearest book/grocery store & pick up Glamour magazine. I'm not a frequent reader of it, but of course I buy anything with the ultimate Posh Momma on the cover. This issue is REALLY cute with some great healthy food tips & a very whimsical pink & pretty fashion spread. The Victoria Beckham spread is a fun twist on being a housewife!!

Something tells me Victoria doesn't often indulge, but if you are going to - you cannot go wrong with cupcakes!

LOVE the D&G headband & just look at that sweet puppy!

Burberry trench & amazing Louboutins. (Pictures feature a lilac & a pink pair). BTW I totally look like that when I'm grocery shopping too...

I have Olympic fever! Thanks to my friend Jenn, my class is pen pals with her cousin Olympic bobsled racer, John Napier. How THRILLING for them to get an email from him today. They are so psyched for the games!

Perfecto

I simply love Valentino. The Love of My Life bought me a Valentino watch for one of our first Valentine's Day's together. This man's dresses are brilliant works of art, fashion masterpieces. I own this movie & will watch it again & again. To behold his creative process was a true joy & seeing how he lives is magical. I hope the new ownership of his brand does not do anything to cheapen the cache associated with this brand. His name should glitter into the future as it has in the past.

If you live in a cold weather climate the scenes of Italy are reason enough to watch this film.
My extensive travels through Italy rank as some of the most fantastic days of my life & I will watch almost any film with scenes of Italy in it. (How is that movie "When In Rome"? It got terrible reviews, but it is ROME. I can watch it with the sound down if I need to. LOL)

Posh Mom O' The Day

J'adore Christy Turlington! What a joy to see her with two Bostons! She is my all-time favorite model & a fellow Boston lover! Christy is a devoted Mom & cares about women's issues. She is a smart & spiritual lady. Also, Bono attended her wedding. A POSH MOM for sure!

Color Spree

It is usually still quite chilly round these parts by the time Easter rolls around. I learned my lesson well as a little girl freezing in short sleeves & a bonnet! I decided on the Lainey dress for the girls for Easter. It looks cozy & comfy & they will be comfortable if the mercury doesn't rise as high as we hope.

The Adelene is my back-up purchase. They can wear this for late spring /summer events if it is too cold to wear them for Easter.

Isn't the Odile ideal? I don't need an event to dress them in this. We can cruise anywhere with this: comfy & cute.

Mommy cannot resist matching!!

I recently purchased these pjs for my BFF. She loved them! I do too!

I noticed that the bulk of my Lilly purchases are made during the months of February & March! I think when you live in a cold weather climate you are sort of purchasing sunny day for the future when you plan your Lilly outfits in advance.

Maybe I have "seasonal color deprivation"? If there isn't such a thing then it must be invented to explain my sprees. Although, I love Lilly 12 months a year, so there goes that excuse!

I said to my Husband when we were in Monaco together that the color there was like someone had reached into my psyche and pulled out my dream palatte. The buildings were sherbet colors and the water a windex blue. It all filled my eyes like a breath of fresh air fills the lungs. Color feeds the soul. Please feel free to use this theory to justify your next Lilly spree! LOL
